In preparation for designing new exhibits, Explorations created a series of polls for both children and their parents to express what they’d like best. Vision boards were constructed to showcase a variety of interests, with votes displayed as dots. Take a look at what mattered most! These vision board votes played a role in deciding what would be incorporated into the new building. |

To date, 40,000 square feet of exterior structure is complete and all interior framing is done. The electrical closets were the first to be dried in and electrical lines are starting to be installed. |

The detail features were included in the interior wall framing. These are the watermelon seed peek-a-boo features that are part of the exhibit design and being incorporated into the physical structure. This is another benefit of designing the building alongside the exhibit collection. |
